Rust CCTV Camera Codes (2026): Complete List & Setup Guide

Knowledge is power in Rust. Whether you're a solo player keeping tabs on a zerg or a clan preparing to counter Oil Rig, accessing the map's CCTV network gives you a massive advantage.

Instead of running in blind, you can use a Computer Station to scout monuments, check for campers, and time your crate runs perfectly. Here is the complete list of Rust CCTV camera codes and how to use them.

How to Set Up a Computer Station

Before you can spy on your neighbors or check if Large Oil is taken, you need a Computer Station.

You can research this at the Tier 2 Workbench for 75 Scrap. To craft it, you’ll need:

  • 1 Targeting Computer
  • 1 RF Broadcaster
  • 1 RF Receiver
  • 5 High Quality Metal

Once placed, sit at the station and follow these steps:

  1. Place the Computer Station in your base.
  2. Sit down and type the identifier code into the “Identifier” field.
  3. Click the + (plus) icon to save it to your list.
  4. Click the saved name to view the feed.

Note: You can also set up your own cameras around your base using the Wire Tool. Just remember to give them unique names that raiders won’t easily guess.

Monument CCTV Camera Codes

These codes are static (they don't change) on most vanilla servers. Simply type the ID into your station to connect.

Oil Rigs

Checking the rigs before you fly out is essential to avoid running into a full team defending the dock.

Large Oil Rig

  • OILRIG2L1 – Level 1
  • OILRIG2L2 – Level 2
  • OILRIG2L3A / OILRIG2L3B – Level 3
  • OILRIG2L4 – Level 4
  • OILRIG2L5 – Level 5
  • OILRIG2L6A / OILRIG2L6B / OILRIG2L6C – Level 6
  • OILRIG2DOCK – Boat Dock
  • OILRIG2HELIPAD – Helipad

Small Oil Rig

  • OILRIG1L1 – Level 1
  • OILRIG1L2 – Level 2
  • OILRIG1L3 – Level 3
  • OILRIG1L4 – Level 4
  • OILRIG1DOCK – Boat Dock

The Dome

Great for checking if there are campers at the top before you start your parkour climb.

  • DOME1 – Bottom/Entrance
  • DOMETOP – Top Tier

Outpost

Safe zones aren't always safe if someone is roof camping the exit. Use these to scout the perimeter.

  • COMPOUNDSTREET
  • COMPOUNDCRUDE
  • COMPOUNDMUSIC
  • COMPOUNDCHILL

Missile Silo

  • SILOEXIT1
  • SILOEXIT2
  • SILOSHIPPING
  • SILOTOWER
  • SILOMISSILE

Underwater Labs

Note: Underwater Lab codes are procedural and change every wipe. You have to physically visit the lab and find the Computer Station inside to get the codes for that specific wipe.

Why Use CCTV?

Beyond just monument scouting, setting up your own CCTV network at your base is a game-changer for defense. If you hear footsteps outside, checking a camera is safer than opening a door.

If you’re running a server, you might want to encourage players to use these tools for more tactical gameplay. (By the way, if you need a lag-free home for your community, check out our Rust Server Hosting—we handle the DDoS protection so you can focus on the raids.)
