Palworld Update Version v0.1.4.0 (Feb 1st)

Pocketpair, the team behind the world-hit game Palworld, has just released a patch today on February 1st 2024, Version 0.1.4.0. This patch is a step towards the Palworld roadmap. Here's what was changed as of February 1st.

Major Fixes and Gameplay Adjustments

• Stability Improvements: Addresses game crashes, including a fix for when the guild's total number of captured pals is 7000+. Previously corrupted save data is still affected.
• Capture Mechanics: Fixed easy capturing of low-health pals and problems with pals getting stuck in walls.

Key Configurations and Player Experience

• Enhanced key configuration options now include support for mouse side buttons and the numeric keypad.
• Fixed double damage receipt in certain modes
• Allowing movement under heavy weight
• Preventing phase-through glitches
• Correcting capture power and armor slot bugs
• Optimizing camera positions for mounted travel

Base Management and Pal Interactions

• Made Changes in base functionality ensure pals assigned to tasks remain focused, and manual assignment issues fixed.
• Adjustments to fire spread on wooden structures
• Solutions to prevent pals from getting stuck or dropping items
• Fixes for various base-related pal behavior issues

Security and UI Enhancements

• Introduced new anti-cheat measures, as well as fixes to in-game and an improved UI key guide.

A massive step towards making the game more stable and easier to play. Palworld is still an early-access game and bugs are expected, but these large patches does show the commitment of the devs and hopefully should improve this best-selling unique game going forward.
